• No styrofoam coolers or glass containers permitted on the river.
• No pets or fishing gear permitted in rafts.
• No overnight raft trips permitted - maximum 6 adults per raft.
Weekday rates and extended canoe trip rates (3 or more days) are available upon request. Advance reservations and deposit fee are required for Saturday canoe trips and are suggested at other times to insure prompt service upon your arrival.
Canoe rental fee includes 2 paddles, 2 lifejackets, trash bag and shuttle bus transportation to and from river for 2 persons per canoe. There is an additional charge of $10.00 for each additional canoe passenger over 16 years old. Privately owned canoes will be shuttled for $25.00 each as part of a regularly scheduled canoe rental group only.
Our kayak rentals are the one-man, sit-on-top type. There is a minimum rental of 2 kayaks or a canoe and a kayak.
RESERVATION / CANCELLATION POLICY: We require advance reservations and full payment of canoe rental fees for Saturday floats from Memorial Day through Labor Day. You must cancel any Saturday canoe reservations you do not need by 12:00 noon on the Wednesday before your planned float trip. DEPOSITS WILL NOT BE REFUNDED for Saturday canoes cancelled after that time.
RAINY DAY POLICY: If steady rainfall occurs on the morning of your scheduled float and does not stop by 11:00 a.m., you may request a rain check to reschedule your float trip for another time. In the event of river closure by the National Park Service due to high water conditions, prior to the beginning of your canoe trip, you may request a rain check or refund of deposit.
CAMPING
RUNNING RIVER CANOE RENTAL has a small campground available by reservation for our canoeing customers. There is a well-stocked convenience store and a modern toilet and shower building. Each campsite has a table and a fire ring, and electric is available (100 feet) to many sites. In addition we have a limited number of RV sites available with water, sewer and electric hook-ups.
